Every year around October, I begin seeing posts and memes about NANOWRIMO. In years past, I didn't really participate in that process despite being a writer. I like the idea of completing a manuscript in the month of November, but I just can't get into it. Maybe it is the daunting task of completing a WHOLE novel in that time, or the thought of pushing so many other things aside to accomplish the goal. This year...I am trying something different.
It requires not completing a whole novel.
It requires no commitment to writing every single day.
It requires no pushing aside fun, autumn-y events and plans.
It is a simple, no frills approach.
I will be trying to write or edit ONE erotic short every two days in the month of November. That will be a total of 15 erotic shorts and potentially 2 erotic collections.
Simple, right?
I currently have a stack of erotic short stories to rewrite and edit sitting in the queue. If I finish those, my plans are simple. I write another one. These stories are short enough to write in a day, and edit in another day.
